We are pleased to once again offer our Yom Kippur Round Table Discussion on Forgiveness.
An esteemed panel of guests, moderated by St. John’s Rev. Lyndon Harris, will expand on some of the discussion points that came up last year:
True forgiveness is daunting and seems almost impossible to achieve.
Is the modern version of forgiveness insincere?
Modern forgiveness is truly healing on both personal and worldwide levels.
How does one finally realize that they will never have a better past?
This discussion will take place in the sanctuary during the break between Yom Kippur services (approximately 1:30 pm -4:00 pm on September 28th).
Last year, a production company from PBS filmed our discussion as part of their upcoming series on “forgiveness as a theme in religion.” The forgiveness film is a PBS/WETA production. Air dates will be posted as we receive them.
